DESCRIPTION: Based on the research of Dr. Carol Dweck, a growth mindset is rooted in the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication, effort, and perseverance. This mindset encourages people to embrace challenges, learn from setbacks, and foster a positive attitude towards continuous improvement.

Examining Our Habits

DESCRIPTION: Studies by neurobiologists, cognitive psychologist, and others indicate that from 40 to 95 percent of human behavior- how we think, what we say, and our overall actions- falls into the habit category. That's an incredible amount of our precious life! Are your habits supporting the life you want to live?

This workshop fosters self-awareness and provides actionable steps to take control of habits and make intentional choices that align habits with your goals and values.

Adapting to Change

DESCRIPTION: Change is inevitable yet it is typical to resist change, even when a change will improve our well-being! Coping with change requires us to pivot, which can feel uncomfortable and push is out of our comfort zone.

This workshop explores why people have a tendency to resist change and strategies for addressing and overcoming resistance.

Managing Your Time

DESCRIPTION: The to-do list seems endless and there is never enough time to complete it all! It's frustrating, stressful, and has an adverse impact of our well-being. The reality is we cannot wave a magic wand and instantly add more time to our day, but we can learn to manage our time with intentionality. Reclaiming our time is reclaiming our life! We will explore how we spend our time, ways to uncover hidden time thieves, the importance of clarifying your goals and prioritizing what is important, approaches to reallocate time and methods to overcome common obstacles that get in the way of reclaiming your time.

The Creativity Myth

Living In A State of Gratitude

DESCRIPTION: Intentionally practicing gratitude makes us more resilient, creates feelings of happiness, triggers cheerful memories, creates a optimistic point of view, and deepens relationships. Displaying an attitude of gratitude at work communicates "we are in this together" which elevates our own performance and the performance of others.

Let's come together to discuss cultivating an appreciative mindset and embracing gratitude as a way of life. We'll explore the profound impact of gratitude on mental well-being and interpersonal relationships as well as provide practical tools to integrate this mindset into our daily routines, promoting overall happiness and fulfillment.

DESCRIPTION: Looking ahead to holiday gatherings, events, and activities can be a time of excitement and anticipation. What if you had the tools to maintain your well-being so you can approach the holidays with greater resilience and a renewed sense of enjoyment?

Chris Wales has over 25 years of leadership experience and is a Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, holds a certificate in the Psychology of Leadership through Cornell University, an MBA from UW-Oshkosh, an MS in Organizational Change Leadership through UW-Platteville and the founder of River Crossing Coaching, an international professional and personal development coaching firm. She has partnered with hundreds of leaders (every individual is a leader), aligning their insights and behaviors to achieve self-directed goals.  Everyone can create meaningful change in their lives when they have the desires, tools, plans, actions, and support to create a clear path forward!
